Have you ever wanted to try a yoga class? Join local yoga instructor, Kathryn Ford Richter, RN, at the Morrill Memorial Library on Monday September 26 and/or Monday October 3 from 6:30-7:45 pm to try Kripalu yoga.

Kripalu yoga is a gentle yoga practice that uses poses, breath work, and relaxation techniques as a way to quiet the mind and integrate mind, body, and spirit.  This class focuses on the flow of energy, practicing compassionate self-acceptance,  and taking what is learned “on the mat” into daily life.  This class will include some gentle warm-ups, standing and seated poses, ending with essential oils during sivasana leaving you calm and refreshed. This class is an all-levels class but is perfectly suitable for beginners.

People can sign up for one or both sessions, and class size is limited to 15. Yoga at the Library is open to adults, and teens ages 13-17 with a parent. Please bring your own yoga mat, yoga blocks if you have them, and a blanket if desired.
