Temporary Study Room Policy

Spring 2021

Two Study Rooms are available for use by the public. One room will be used for morning reservations and the other will be used for afternoon reservations, and will be cleaned after each use.

Study Rooms are for individual use only; no group study spaces are currently available. Two members of the same household may use a study room together, and will need to provide proof of shared residence upon check-in.

All Study Room bookings must be done by calling the Reference (x2) or Administration (x7) departments at 781-769-0200. Reservations can also be made via email or website chat.

Rooms can be reserved by the same person once per week, and reserved up to a week in advance. If a person has already used a Study Room once in a given week, they may use it for additional days if a room is available by calling Reference or Administration on the day they want to use a room.

The person reserving the Study Room must have a valid Minuteman library card in their own name, but they do not have to be a Norwood resident. Our Circulation Department is happy to provide a new library card if needed.
