The library offers a variety of resources for patrons interested in learning more about their family history. Databases like American Ancestors (in library use only), Ancestry Library (in library use only), and Heritage Quest are a great place to begin your search. Historic local newspapers, town reports and street listings, and other historical resources are available in our Cushing Reading Room. Please visit the Reference Desk for more information.

Local genealogy expert, Joe Petrie, also offers individual genealogy sessions to patrons by appointment several times a year. Please contact the Reference Desk at 781-769-0200, Dial 2, to see if we are scheduling appointments.
