Friends of the Morrill Memorial Library

The Friends of the Morrill Memorial Library is a group of library supporters and volunteers whose purpose is to support, enhance, and sustain the public library in the Town of Norwood, Massachusetts. The group is open to all members of the public and is a 501(c) organization.

Fundraising is an important component of the Friends' work for the library. Funds raised from membership dues, book sales, and other activities allow the library to expand the services it can offer to the community.

Activities of the Friends:

The Friends sponsor community activities at the library such as author talks and visits, and special programs for both adults and children. The library also supports the Friends through a variety of in-kind services including provision of meeting facilities and various other contributing actions and initiatives.

  • Art programs for kids including
    Take and Make crafts
  • Author lecture series
  • Programs and performances for adults
  • A pollinator garden and herb garden
  • Biannual book sales
