The Morrill Memorial Library will not be taking donations of materials for the foreseeable future. We hope to revisit this policy sometime after the library reopens, and we appreciate your understanding.

The library is grateful for all kinds of monetary donations, including your membership in the Friends of the Library or birthday books in honor of a birthday or birth.

Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Morrill Memorial Library is a non-profit group who promote public interest in the library by supporting and expanding library programming and services.

DONATIONS OF MATERIALS IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED

We Accept:

  • Popular fiction, nonfiction
  • Academic titles
  • Textbooks published within the last five years in good condition.
  • Classic titles in excellent condition.
  • DVDs
  • Music CDs
  • Complete audiobooks on CD, with intact and undamaged cases.

We Do Not Accept:

  • Books in poor condition.
  • Encyclopedias.
  • Reader’s Digest condensed books.
  • Outdated information, particularly travel guides, computer books, or computer software
    older than three years.
  • Magazines.
  • CDs or DVDs that are scratched or otherwise unusable, or have broken cases or missing
    booklets.
  • Home-recorded or downloaded materials.
  • Audiobooks or DVD collections with missing discs.
  • VHS tapes or audio cassettes.
