Turn the Page Book Group: A Spy Among Friends @ Morrill Memorial Library, Simoni Room | Norwood | Massachusetts | United States

The Morrill Memorial Library’s book group for adults will meet on Wednesday, May 16th at 10 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. to discuss Ben Macintyre’s real life spy thriller, “A Spy Among Friends: Kim Philby and the Great Betrayal.” Kim Philby was the greatest spy in history, a brilliant and charming man who rose to head Britain’s counterintelligence against the Soviet Union during the height of the Cold War–while he was secretly working for the enemy.

Copies of “A Spy Among Friends” in a variety of formats are available to check out at the Circulation Desk, and the ebook and digital audiobook versions are available from Overdrive. The May 16th meeting will be led by Nancy Ling, Outreach Services Librarian, and Liz Reed, Adult Services Librarian. Coffee and light refreshments will be served, and advance registration is appreciated. To sign up for either the morning or evening session, please call 781-769-0200, x110, fill out the form below, or stop by the library’s Reference or Information Desk.
