Noted historian and author Anthony Sammarco will return to the Library to explore Boston during World War I, and the disease that decimated the world population. Learn how Boston responded to the Spanish Flu pandemic.

This collaborative program series was born from a desire to recognize the 100-year commemoration of the 1918  Flu Epidemic, and the impact it had on the people of our town. Please join us for this exciting and informative series. This program series is funded in part by Mass Humanities, which receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
