Dr. Al DeMaria will lead us on a fascinating journey through the history of public health and disease in Massachusetts. Dr. DeMaria is Medical Director of the Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences and State Epidemiologist in the MA Department of Public Health. He is President of the MA Infectious Diseases Society.

This collaborative program series was born from a desire to recognize the 100-year commemoration of the 1918  Flu Epidemic, and the impact it had on the people of our town. Please join us for this exciting and informative series. This program series is funded in part by Mass Humanities, which receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
