Digging up Your Family Roots

Interested in exploring your family’s ancestry? Reached a frustrating roadblock in your research? Local genealogist Joe Petrie will present a seminar to identify free websites that can help you investigate your family tree. A tip sheet highlighting these sites and other pertinent information will be provided.

Joe is also offering a number of one-on-one sessions at the Norwood Library on a first-come, first-serve basis during the month of May. Daytime and evening appointments are available.

In addition to leading seminars at various colleges and libraries, Joe has volunteered for the Irish Cultural Centre of New England in Canton and for the Friends of Irish Research in Brockton.

To sign up for either the genealogy seminar on April 27 or to book a two-hour individual appointment with Joe, please call 781-769-0200, x110 or 222, fill out the form below, or stop by the library Reference or Information Desk.
