"Alice's Ordinary People" film screening and discussion with the filmmaker @ Morrill Memorial Library, Simoni Room | Norwood | Massachusetts | United States

The Morrill Memorial Library is proud to host award-winning documentary filmmaker, Craig Dudnick, on Monday, February 26 at 6:30 pm in the Simoni Room. Craig’s 2012 documentary, “Alice’s Ordinary People,” chronicles the life and work of Alice Tregay, a vital figure in the civil rights movement. The film also follows five decades of fearless activism in the Chicago Freedom Movement from the influence of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to the ongoing fight for justice. A screening of this moving one-hour-long film will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, himself. Though Alice passed away in 2015, her legacy lives on.

Craig Dudnick is a graduate of Northwestern University and founder of Imagine Video Productions. His work has appeared in numerous syndicated news programs and documentaries, and his camerawork in PM Magazine received a national award.
