Library Cards

How to Register

A library card is quick and easy to get, and gives you access to books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, and online resources. You just need to show us a photo ID and proof of your Massachusetts address or employment in Norwood. Children through grade 8 need a parent or guardian’s signature and ID to obtain a card. There is no waiting period for a library card and it is free. You can fill out this Library Card Registration Form and bring it to the library or pick up a form at the Circulation Desk.

Register Online

You can also register online by clicking the "Register Online" button.

  • If you registered online, please mention that you have already registered and bring your temporary library number, or a copy of the confirmation email (printed or on your mobile device), with you.
  • When you pick up your card you must present a photo ID and proof of address (a driver’s license, postmarked mail, a car registration, or a Norwood High School ID).

What Can You Do with a Library Card?
